Parish Life

Christ the King Catholic Primary School works very closely with the Paris of Christ the King in Thornbury and Holy Cross in Wotton-under-Edge.  The Parish Priest, Fr. George, is our School Family Parish Priest who is supported in his work by Deacon Lawrence and Deacon Kingsley.  Some parishioners from the parish are employees of the School and many Parishioners support the school on a voluntary basis in a variety of ways.  We work closely with the Parish to prepare our children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Parishioners are invited to attend our School Masses and many Parishioners often help us with the music for Mass.  The whole school walks down to the Church to celebrate Mass on Christ the King Feast Day.  We also visit the Church as often as possible for Retreat Days and class visits.

We rejoice in our partnership and endeavour to support one another in our shared mission of sharing the love of Jesus by 'Making a Difference' to others.
