MENTAL HEALTH
Mental Health
At Christ the King we have a commitment to the mental wellbeing of all staff and children. We consider mental wellbeing as important as physical health and we ensure we are a mentally healthy school in a number of ways.
We provide a safe, welcoming and supportive space to learn and work. We have a robust support system in place where all staff are actively encouraged to be vigilant about any concerns they have regarding a child's, or their own, mental wellbeing, and a clear route to follow should any concerns be identified. All staff work together using open communication and in partnership with parents. We have a designated mental health lead within school who works alongside other staff members, parents and wider professionals, to provide support for anyone who needs it, and ensure systems are in place to signpost staff and parents to support that may be needed.
